Hi, I’m here to get you set up for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods road course. A few things before you start.

Use Google Chrome. It’s the browser this course works best in. You can take the course on your phone, but it’s easier on a bigger screen. If you have a laptop or desktop, use it.

Find a quiet spot with no distractions.

Sit facing a light, not with a window or lamp behind you, so the camera can see your face clearly.

Have a government photo ID ready, like your driver’s licence or passport. We’ll check it’s really you at the start, and your camera stays on during the course to ensure course and exam integrity.

If your webcam can’t get a clear picture of your ID, choose Use your phone instead and scan the code with your phone. On a phone, choose Use your camera app.

Stay on the course page until you’re done. Switching apps or answering messages can pause the course.

If you run into any trouble along the way, simply close the course and you’ll see how to get support.

Then relax. I’ll be with you from here, right through the course to your certificate. When you’re ready, tap Enrol now.

Anyone who handles, offers for transport or transports dangerous goods in Canada must be adequately trained, under Part 6 of the federal Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations. This course covers road transport: drivers, shippers, receivers, and warehouse and dock staff who load or unload dangerous goods.

Under the Regulations, your employer issues your TDG certificate of training, valid for 36 months, once they are satisfied you are trained for your duties. Your Gardril credential is your identity-verified proof of the training they can rely on.

We verify your ID and participation, but there is no proctoring queue; you start immediately.
